Memphis Animal Shelter Begins Transition To New Facility

It is refreshing to see a news story which focuses on a new state-of-the-art facility for animals when most of the headlines lately are focusing on no money, no space, over-crowding, and escalating euthanasia.
“MAS’ primary focus during this time of transition is the safety and well-being of the animals,” said Public Services and Neighborhoods Director Janet Hooks.
