HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY -- Are you missing a Great Dane?

Hillsborough County Animal Services is asking the public's help for information about a shy Great Dane now in care at the County shelter.
The young male was hit by a car. The dog's owner has not come forward so far, and Animal Services is confident that this purebred pup is someone's missing pet.
This large dog suffers from two broken legs and requires special surgery so that he can be adopted if the owner does not come forward.
Donations for the dog's medical care may be sent to Hillsborough County Animal Services (440 N. Falkenburg Road, Tampa) with "donation fund" written on the check memo line.
Animal Services reminds pet owners of the importance of pet identification such as tags and microchips over the busy holiday weekend.
If you have any information about the dog or its owners, please contact the shelter at (813) 744-5660 or email info@hillsboroughcounty.org. The after-hours message line is (813) 744-5550.
The shelter will be closed on Thanksgiving Thursday and Friday, but will reopen for adoptions, lost pet search, and donations on Saturday (9 am - 3:30 pm) and Sunday (11 am - 3:30 pm). The shelter is always closed on Mondays.
