Animal Lovers Hit The Road To Save Pets

Miami Dade is probably one of the most troubled county services in the state. They have a burden unlike many others simply because of the number of animals they take in each day, whether stray or owner give-up.
This story made me smile. Two volunteers, just two, are pulling animals and transporting them to other spots, including Broward County and as far north as Maryland. This allows them to pull animals whose time is up, allows some animals a little more time and opens up space for even more animals brought in on a daily basis.
I have always and will continue to sing the praises of volunteers. They do so much for a lick or a purr. The number of animals directly saved by volunteers is huge.
Pawsitive 4 Life, a local community group, helped raise money for Monday’s transport of 23 animals. When you have the community behind you, you can't lose.
