Homestead/Everglades Project in dire need of fosters and rescues
I have attempted to compile a PARTIAL list of the dogs that have been rescued from the Everglades/Homestead area and are being boarded. (Sending a separate one with small dogs as well). A great proportion of the donations for this fund are being spent on boarding which is reducing the funds that are available to spend on vetting for the animals. We have quite a few mommies and litters that need to get out of the kennels in addition to the young and adult doggies who are being boarded. We need rescues, fosters and could use some additional veterinarian offices or boarding facilities or doggie day cares who would be willing to sponsor a dog until they are adopted. This is Lucy a Sharpei mix. She has 6 5 week old puppies.
This is Angel. She is a Bulldog mommy and 7 puppies. Desperately needs a foster for both mom and pups.
THIS IS LAUREN, SHE HAS NO SIGHT IN ONE EYE, BUT WHAT A LOOKER! SHE IS GORGEOUS ALONG WITH HER PUPS. ALL AT VET OFFICE.
These puppies abandoned under shed. No pix of mom but she is a pure bred Shepherd.
This is Kasey. She was scrounging for food in the Everglades a month ago with her puppies. By the time we could get her only one puppy was left. The mommy, Kasey, is 2 yo and weighs about 45 lbs. VERY FRIENDLY.

MIDNIGHT Needs a Home OR FOSTER DESPERATELY ! Found at empty house, emaciated , could hardly walk. We are treating him at the vet now. Poor Angel please open your home to him. He is about 4 yrs old and at full weight he should be 50-60 lbs . He is only like 35 lbs now all bones.

PEOPLE SCREAMED AT HER , A WOMAN EVEN KICKED HER AWAY FROM HER CAR. I BROUGHT HER HOME AND SHE DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE MY SIDE . SHES A SWEET ANGEL. LOTS OF ENERGY AT TIMES BUT ALSO MELLOW AND NON DESTRUCTIVE. SHE IS LEARNING TO FETCH. GORGEOUS EYES I WANT A SUPER SPECIAL HOME FOR LILLY THAT WILL KEEP HER AND APPRECIATE HER FOREVER. Molly was picked on the side of the road by some Homestead nurseries. She had five puppies originally, but no one was there to protect her and her babies and the babies were running in and out of the street, and two were hit by cars. Our group was called to help her and three puppies were saved. Molly is about 35 lbs herself and 1- 1.5 years old. A young little mommy. She is very sweet and is probably a greyhound/bully mix. Bella is a beautiful 6 month puppy that is ready for a home. Her mommy was rescued from Miami Dade with her and 7 brothers and sisters. She is house trained and loves other dogs. Apollo and Minyi are 6 month old brothers who are ready for a home. Their mommy was rescued from Miami Dade with them and 7 brothers and sisters. They are both house trained and love other dogs. This beautiful girl Samantha was living at a gas station where Mirta fed her for a month. One night she came to get her food and she was limping and had a big bite under her arm. She was almost in shock. Mirta couldn't leave her there and brought her home to get her healthy. She is now healthy and beautiful. She is veryyyyyyyy mellow and gets along with and loves to be with other dogs. She also loves to be inside and is not that active. Samantha is a snuggler and very affectionate. She turns around in circles like a wild pony when she is happy. Samantha weighs between 50-60 lbs and is a young dog.
