Des Moines Animal control budget faces big cuts

In Des Moines, animal services are contracted out to a private rescue group, Animal Rescue League of Iowa and under the sheriff's budget. In order to cut the budget, it has been suggested they reduce the amount of money paid to more than half of the present budget.
