10 Pet Charities Worth Donating To
Okay, I know what the headline says and I will provide the link for the story in a minute but must preface it with my own spin.
All of the listed charities are worthwhile. If I had lots of money, I would not hesitate to donate to them. The problem is, there are so many worthy rescue groups in this area, or any local area for that matter. They need our help, too! So if you have a little extra, who gets the most help?
My dollars stay local. Yours, unless you have lots to go around, should stay local, too.
If you don't have lots, volunteer, donate blankets, towels and bleach. Every rescue needs dog and cat food. There are many, many things on their wish list. Call them and see what is most needed.
We are coming into the holiday season. Make a donation in a loved ones name and put that under the tree. Please this season, give local first. Help the animals in your community.
