An Italian? ball of energy

Although Mama Mia is listed as a Boxer mix, She reminds me of a Boston Terrier mixed with a bulldog. She is a little girl, 2 years old and a total livewire. She was surrendered to HSSC on 8/07/08 because the owner could not afford to care for her any longer.
She was was heartworm positive and still nursing a litter of puppies. The puppies have found homes, she is heartworm free now, spayed and is ready to find her new home. She is up to date on her routine shots and is microchipped.

Once she calms down, she is a sweet, good natured girl who loves to held and loved. The K-9 Coaches at the shelter have been working on her obedience and she is trying really hard. The problem is, her energy level is so high, it takes her a little while to plant all four feet on the ground.

She does well with other dogs and has a play buddy at the shelter named Diesel. Her play buddy is a big boy and she wears him out.

If you want a dog and have lots of energy, she could be the dog for you. The shelter is located at 2331 15th Street in Sarasota. You can call 955-4131 and ask about her or check her out here.
