Another delayed decision
The wild horses roaming the west are in danger. This is nothing new. They have been in danger every year since I can remember reading stories about them.
There are several different reasons why they are in danger: no money to care for them, not as many people adopting them, in-breeding which is causing more medical problems and finally space. The BLM (Bureau of Land Management) estimates they are holding as many animals as are running loose. No one wants to cull these herds because people get upset if you speak of killing. So what do you do?
The BLM is now going to wait to make a decision. On one hand, they have too many horses and on the other hand, they don't want the animal rights activists to protest. What do you do then?
