So many good people

Last week I told you I was privileged enough to volunteer at a wonderful sanctuary for dogs and cats. I had a wonderful time and it was a wonderful experience. I enjoyed myself and the company so much, I went back today. The wonderful couple who began Satchel's work very hard and they are very crowded with animals. Many of these are adoptable to the right home, but it must be the right home. You must pass Miss Page's scrutiny to be able to adopt one of her animal's and she can be a tough nut to crack. Just Kidding, Page.
They, like so many other non profits depend on the area in which they live to support them and their cause. Last week, I gave everyone the link to their webpage and have now discovered it is still a work in progress, which means some of the links on the site are not operational yet. The most important one is the PayPal link which allows you to make a donation online from the comfort of your home. It is not operating properly yet, so any donations my readers might have made, they can't.
But, in this day of computer savvy people, there is still a piece of paper called a check. You must use a pen to fill it out, but they still work if dropped in the local mailbox with a stamp. Snail Mail is what it is called now, but it does still work. So, anyone who simply can't wait for the Paypal link to become operational, all checks can be mailed to Satchel's Last Resort, 8101 Coash Road, Sarasota, Florida 34231.
Remember, this is a small sanctuary for last chance animals who, when necessary, can live the remainder of their lives in comfort. It is one of the worthy causes everyone who loves animals should support. They don't have a big budget, or lots of employees, money is scarce sometimes and they work 18 hour days. They need donations, all donations, to stay operational and have never had the exposure many rescue groups do, so if you can spare a check, please send it their way.
Thanks, you guys are the best.
