Labrador available for adoption

Simon is full of fun and loves to swim. We believe he is from 7 to 9 months old, with plenty of puppy playfulness in his personality. He is very willing to learn and would make a great dock diver or splash dog. We are working on his potty training, with Simon getting more consistent each day. He loves people and other dogs, both large and small. He is being exposed to little kittens, but is not trustworthy with the babies, yet.
Simon is small, 34 pounds, and shouldn't get much bigger. He's built like a seal and loves to jump into the pool to retrieve. He has been exposed to children of all ages and handles them fairly well. We are working on mouthing as he likes to grab your arm (not hard) but as if he wants to lead you somewhere. This, too, is getting better. He would be the perfect dog for someone who can't handle a larger Lab or has a smaller home that can't accommodate a large dog. He would do better with someone who is home most of the time - he's not the best in his crate, and has time to finish his basic training. Simon is fostered in Cape Coral.
