Libby needs a home

Senior animals are the strongest of my rescue passion. I am distraught about the number of senior animals who are dumped in shelters and rescues on a daily basis by owners who cannot imagine what their former pets must be thinking.

The only family they have ever known, is gone. They aren't coming back. They dropped the animal off and left someone else to pick up the pieces.

Libby is one of those animals. Luckily, she found a spot at Satchel's. She is well-loved, but nothing beats a home.

Libby is 8 years old and was turned in because of the economy. After 8 years her family could not find a way to keep her. She is housebroken and loves people. She loves to go for walks with her humans.

Can you find a spot for this beautiful, sad senior lab mix in your home? She would be forever grateful to find a family to love her again. To not give up on her simply because of the economy. A family who would find a way to keep her no matter what. Could your family be that family?
