Foster homes desperately needed

A terrible double homicide in the Venice area (http://www.mysuncoast.com/Global/story.asp?S=10614065) has left four Golden Retrievers homeless and in desperate need of help. Unfortunately, the son of the female victim had no choice but to turn the dogs over to Animal Services.
There are 3 dogs at AS and one dog at a veterinarian's office. The dogs at AS are a 5 year old unneutered male, two spayed 8 year old females that are sisters. There is also a blind 10 year old female at a veterinarian's office being treated for diabetes.
GRRSWF is committed to helping these dogs however, we are in need of foster homes in order to be able to do so - for the blind, diabetic 10 year old in particular; this poor girl must be even more confused and terrified than her housemates.
Who has room in their home and their heart for any of these additional victims of this tragic event? Animal Services and the veterinarian would like to transfer the dogs to GRRSWF as soon as possible; we can board the dogs for a night or two if necessary, as long as we know that there is a foster home available for them.
Please help us help them!
