Too many kitties
I have a friend who operates a shelter in rural Missouri. I know they have a problem with unwanted animals. Much of Missouri is rural and puppy mills abound. Horses are left to fend for themselves.
This story, about a hoarder, shows abandoned animals are not Missouri's only problem. There are now 150 cats in the shelter due to a hoarding situation. Altering your animals is the best solution for these problems but is obviously not high on residents' lists to have done. Hopefully Missouri will move into the 21st century soon, and some of these problems can be addressed.
