Black Labrador, German Shepherd mix needs a home
There is now a $125 donation on Jack and he is neutered. He is such a handsome guy. He is a very people and dog friendly animal. He was out today with another dog and was very well behaved and got along great. Please open your home to this very sweet guy whose time in life is coming to a close this Wednesday. Please crosspost~please forward~please network on behalf of someone's dog,
waiting and waiting in vain, for the ones he loves to come back to him and take
him home. He is so lonely in his kennel, day after day, and his sadness is
heartbreaking. He was so innocent, that morning when he jumped so gladly
into the car for a ride--he did not know and could not know that he was
leaving home forever! He was someone's dog, after all, and he had gone for
rides in the car before. His people had left him before but they always came
back again.
But now he waits for them and they do not come back--no one comes for
him and no one loves him. He runs to his kennel door whenever people
come into the room, but they always walk past him. Doors on other cages
open and the dogs leave; the people are gone now, and he is still alone,
desolate and waiting.
He will die this week if no one comes, if no one opens the door of his
cage and puts a leash on him and takes him away. If no one loves this
sweet and loving dog, if no one wants him, Jack will die on Wednesday,
December 14th.
Please, please don't let that happen. Please take Jack into your rescue
before its too late and he dies in his loneliness, forever unloved.

Yes, you can rescue dogs/puppies/cats/kittens from FCAC if you are not on
the approved list of rescues or you are out of state! But you must have a
rescue on the approved list pull for you! Staff at the shelter cannot give
you a referral to a rescue to pull for you--BUT THE VOLUNTEERS CAN AND
WILL! There are volunteers who can pick up dogs/pups from the shelter
for you and take them to local boarding!!!
