American Kennel Club's national championship returns to Orlando

According to the Orlando Sentinel, "A record-breaking 3,938 four-legged competitors are expected in the Orange County Convention Center on Dec. 17-18 for the annual AKC/Eukanuba National Championship, dubbed the "Super Bowl of the dog world." They will compete for more than $225,000 in prize money."
International Drive, which is home to many of the hotels in the area, is welcoming the furry critters with open arms, even some hotels which do not normally allow dogs.
