SHS pet calendar photo contest
If you enjoy pulling out your wallet or opening your purse to show everyone the latest and greatest picture of your pet, you may want to enter Suncoast Humane Society’s 2010 Pet Calendar Photo Contest. That way, you can just point to your wall, or better yet, give them a calendar featuring the photo you submitted. Each entry is $25.00. The first 250 ACCEPTABLE entries will be included in the calendar’s monthly pages. Additional entries will be displayed on the “collage” pages. There is no specific theme, so any good quality picture has a chance of winning. Your pet can be doing something cute, silly or posing pretty. To be eligible, photos must be received by July 1, 2009.
Lucky winners will be featured on the front or back cover. Each month will also have a winning “pet of the month,” along with two runners up. Entries will be judged by an independent panel of pet lovers. Winners will be notified by mail or e-mail, and will appear on Suncoast Humane Society’s website, www.humane.org.
Businesses may choose to advertise in the calendar, which reaches 7,000 homes and businesses in Charlotte, Sarasota and Lee Counties. Please contact Suncoast Humane Society at 941-484-4774, or visit www.humane.org for further information.
Photos must be color, contain only the pet (not people) and be 4” X 6.” Digital photos must be no less than 300 DPI, JPEG format only. Copyrighted professional photos must be accompanied by authorization from the photographer. All photos become the property of Suncoast Humane Society.
