Desperately seeking home in Yonkers

I get lots of emails from lots of folks trying to find animals homes. I tend to feature animals in this area more than others because more of my readership is here. When I got this email I just had to post this dog. Number 1 she is a senior and number 2 she has lived in a shelter for 9 years. Nine years with no home, which just stinks.
For any of my readers who live in the Yonkers, NY area and would be willing to give this beautiful girl a home for the rest of her life, please contact them or send this information far and wide and let's show this beautiful girl what a home is really like.
This is Red. Red has been at the Yonkers Animal Shelter for 9 long years. Red has patiently watched as adopters come and go home with much younger dogs or ignore her completely because of her breed mix. Yet she has remained sweet and affectionate. She is an Am-Staff mix, gets along with most dogs, 70 pounds and about 10 years old. She is a great dog with a nice disposition and would make a wonderful pet. Please visit Red at the Yonkers Animal Shelter, located on 120 Fullerton Avenue in Yonkers (off of Midland Avenue). Take Central Park Avenue to Midland Avenue to Fullerton Avenue. The shelter is at the very end of the street, past the construction. Hours of operation: Mon-Fri 11am-3:30pm, Weekends/Holidays 12pm-3:30pm. Contact person: Leslie ph (201) 981-3215 or e-mail her at crysros1@aol.com
