A horrible case of cruelty
I know lots of people who are not fond of animals. That's okay. I know more who love their pets. That's okay, too! We are, after all, a nation of individuals. I do know even people who don't own pets are appalled when a cruelty act is discovered and the drowning of some puppies in Jacksonville is one of these cases.
The judge on the case made a strong decision, which may not be so popular, to keep the juvenile in dentention because of the link between animal cruelty and horrific crimes. The accused not only broke into a house, trashed it, stole things but then took two puppies in their crates and threw them in the pool to drown.
I am glad the judge kept him locked up. You can read the story here.
