Tuscany
Sweet, loving, adorable & smart, Tuscany will thrive and grow in a loving home; she wants to please & will respond well to attention & training. Tuscany gets along well with other dogs; she's not a barker but she's really a good tail wager and she loves to play in the wading pool.
Tuscany was adopted and in a home for awhile. Evidently, the owner did not have the time to commit to the dog as she started working / going to school a lot. However, I did have the opportunity to speak to the previous owner and this is what she told me:
Tuscany is a very loving dog. She got a long great with the kids, dogs, cats, neighbors and everyone who knew her. Once the woman started leaving her alone for longer, she said Tuscany developed some habits which sound like separation anxiety. She tried to crate her and she said she chewed on herself. She left her in the backyard and she started digging out. I believe the woman didn't give her the time or training required and that she never crated her and then all of a sudden without training put her into the crate for long periods of time. I'm sure Tuscany became bored, therefore anxious, etc. She is doing well at the shelter with her buddy, people, walking. She is up to date on her shots and heart worm negative. Her owner did tell me that she was food aggressive at feeding time, but that she fed both dogs in different rooms.
