Happy endings make me smile
I have said it before, and I will repeat it. Happy endings are the best. I got the following note from Kerry Koppin, Adoption Manager from the HSSC, who included a picture. She listed the dogs who have been featured who have found homes, including Rocket and Mason, the senior dogs who had been dumped on the Interstate.
Dear Jean,
We wanted to let you know that several of the dogs you have featured on your new blog have found new families!!!
Here are the “lucky dogs” to share with your bloggers:
Morgan (She has a great canine playmate and 10 acres to play on.)
DeSoto (He will have all the time he needs to become the amazing dog we know he can be.)
Sheena (One of the “not desperate housewives”.)
Hazelnut (Another of the “not desperate housewives”.)
Trooper (He has a great canine playmate and super new parents.)
Shila (She was adopted by Trooper’s adopter’s cousin who knows all about special need dogs.)
We were thrilled to be able to tell you and your readers that Mason and Rocket have found a fantastic home together!! What could possibly be better than them going home together? They were adopted by one of our adoption counselors. We know that they will be spoiled by their new dad. Gary felt they needed a whole new start so to go along with their new beds they have new names. Mason is Boston and Rocket is Quincy. Gary told us that it is going better than he could have ever expected!!!
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to share the stories of our shelter kids.
