Ownership of wildlife should be better regulated

I am in total agreement with most conservationists who are calling for more consistent laws concerning the owning of wild animals. Although many will disagree, wild animals should stay in the wild, not be put in places where people don't have a clue about caring for them. Had the owner of the animals in Ohio actually been concerned about the plight of these animals, he would have never taken the chance they would get loose.
Instead he turned them loose and then killed himself. Why not just take a gun and destroy them before turning it on himself. They all died. Lions, tigers and bears, oh my. Many have argued they were killed too quickly and more time should have been spent procurring tranquilizer guns but let me ask you this: "What if you child or wife or father were on their way to their car and a lion had attacked and killed them?"
Tougher legislation is needed. Check out this story.
