Heartworm a pet risk beyond summer

With cooler weather approaching, many in our area believe they do not have to treat their dogs for heartworm prevention. How wrong they are. In Florida, the mosquitoes never really go away.
Please don't let your dog become a statistic because you believe they can't be bitten by a mosquito in the cooler months.
