According to everyone I know on the Gulf Coast from the Florida panhandle to New Orleans, the problems from the BP oil spill are still present, just better hidden. According to one of my friends, if you dig on the beach at Pensacola, don't dig too deep. The oil is still right under the top coat of the beautiful white sand and the security guards they have assigned to the beach will run you off if they catch you digging.
So it didn't surprise me when I read this story about the fish having defects. It made me sad and angry. If our government and the public will not hold the big oil companies accountable, do you think they will actually tell the truth?
