Changing one life at a time

Cruising the internet for interesting stories can bring sadness because so many of the stories being published are about cruelty or death to pets. Tonight for example, the majority of stories were about the tragedy in Ohio. It was sad because so many beautiful, wild animals were killed and the articles ranged from people who either agreed the only option was the one the sheriff took to chastisement of the sheriff for not trying to save as many of the exotics as he could.
I then ran across this little gem of a story about a woman in California who began volunteering to be a foster mom with a small, unknown rescue group and now that small group is opening an actual shelter. She insists the dogs saved her.
