Homestead FL: Destiny, Amer Bulldog, sliced by a machete and left to die in the parking lot

This poor girl was butchered and dumped in the parking lot of the Circle K in Homestead FL. The clerk at the store knew Mirta and called for help.  Unfortunately, the only vet open was an emergency clinic and she was transported there. They would not give us any rescue discount and the bill so far is $700.  Even more urgent is a place for her. We have no place for her to go after she leaves the vet office. She is between 1-2 yo.
