Brownie is still searching
A couple of weeks ago, I posted a wonderful dog on this sit
e, hoping someone would see her and fall in love. Well, that hasn't happened yet so I am going to try once again to gain some exposure for her in hopes her forever home is right around the corner.
Brownie has a plain name, but she is a gorgeous dog. She is a gold and brown brindle in coloring. She came to Satchel's Last Resort after being pulled from abysmal conditions in north Florida which included being tied to a tree and never having enough, if anything, to eat.
She was very scared and thin when she arrived and it took several visits with her before she began to trust us. Once the trust had been established, she became a changed dog. Her tail wags constantly and she gives kisses while she climbs in your lap. In some ways, I think she is trying to make up for all the affection she lacked at her previous house.
She loves to play, chase balls and splash in pools. She likes some male dogs, but would do well as the only dog.
If you would like to come out and meet Brownie, please contact Caroline at comments@satchelslastresort.com and ask about her. She has been through so much in her life and deserves a home of her own where is is cherished as a member of the family.
