The ASPCA and Oreo
The death of Oreo, the miracle dog of the ASPCA in New York City, is a tragedy beyond belief. When she made the papers, complete in cast and stitches, I wonder how much money was generated to the ASPCA for saving this dog. She was all over websites and newspapers.
Now that they made the decision to kill her, the backtracking is incredible. But remember, there are as many people who believe she should have been killed as those who believe she should have been allowed to live her life at the sanctuary which offered.
There are still those among us who think a dog without a home has no qaulity of life. They are better off dead, especially if they could pose a threat.
