Wild Florida

So, if you look real close in the middle of this photo, you will see an alligator. Notice there is no water around, but lots of sand and sandspurs.
If you are wondering where this was taken at, it was in Orlando right off one of the main highways and though you can't see the water, there is a pond he is headed for.
When Florida is in a drought, like we are now, the gators will find the water, even if they have to travel through what must seem like desert to them.
He was only about 4 foot in length, but notice the photographer didn't try and get too close. That is because he grew up in central Florida and knows how quick gators can move, even on dry land.
