National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week
Today begins National Animal Shelter Appreciate Week. If you have time, please show your local shelter how much you appreciate what they do for the animals in your area.
How about volunteering for an hours, dropping off a gallon of bleach or donating $1.00? Believe me, it all helps towards finding these homeless pets a place to call their own.
Bake some chocolate chip cookies for the staff or call and tell them how much you appreciate them. Even the smallest things matter.
This is also the beginning of "Homes for the Holidays" and there are so many needy animals in our area who are looking for their own special home this holiday season.
