Time for vacation
Because it is true that all work and no play makes Jill (or Jean in this case) a dull girl, I am off to the wonderfully crazy town of Key West to play for a few days.
Recharging the batteries is important when you deal with domestic abuse victims all day and shelter animals in your spare time. You begin to question if anything you do is really worthwhile. I have reached that point.
So you won't be seeing any new blog items for a week or so. I won't even have the laptop with me.
So my plea to all my readers is to please pick up the slack. Volunteer, post animals on social networks, donate, ADOPT!
When I get back I will be ready to continue to fight for the animals who have no voice. Please do the same.
