Holiday spirit is alive and well in Chicago, where 50 dogs who were scheduled for death were put on a flight to New York for the holidays in the hopes new homes could be found for them.
I wish we had more of this kind of spirit year round. It takes us all working tirelessly to save as many as possible. Thank you to all involved.
