Our little, old man

Young dogs are more easily place than seniors. Many people mistakenly believe a young dog will be with them longer than a senior dog. That is true in some cases, but the love and affection a senior dog can bring into your home makes the joy of adopting a senior that much sweeter.
Mel is a little old man. He is 12 years old, lived with the same family the whole time and was given to Satchel's a little over a week ago to find a new home for.
He is the sweetest little doxie you would ever want to meet. He is housebroken, walks well on a leash, seems to to well with other dogs and is simply full of life.
He is sad right now, and continues to wonder what he did wrong, but with a new loving home that sadness would go away.
If you could offer Mel a permanent spot where he could continue to live out his golden years please contact Satchel's Last Resort at comments@satchelslastresort.com or call Iris Eastman at 365-4330.
