Thieves are caught after three weeks of missing pitbulls

The theft of 17 pitbulls over the last three weeks from the Columbia, South Carolina animal shelter has been causing n uproar. It seems there was no security camera. then one was donated and installed and still dogs were being stolen.when the police finally posted a stakeout, 3 teenagers were arrested.

The dogs were found in a rural area, chained to trees. Some of the animals chained had come from somewhere besides the animal shelter. It is believed these kids were going to sell the dogs to fighting rings. I am glad they were caught and I hope they are prosecuted to the fullest. Check out the story here.
