Happy, young, Boxer/Pit girl is looking for a permanent home

See my smile, that’s because I am such a happy girl! I am a 1 year old Boxer/Pit Bull mix. I have all my shots and have been spayed, am housebroken, and kennel trained (I like to sleep in your bed at night though).

I am from Sarasota County Animal Services, they got me because I was homeless. They are all real nice there but I have been there since May 2011 and really want a home of my own. One of the nice volunteers (I call her mom) took me home with her as a foster so I wouldn’t have to stay in the shelter any more. She said even though she loves me I have to get my own home so she can help other homeless dogs, I guess that’s fair.

I live with another dog and a cat in my foster home and I love, love, love playing with them. We run in the yard, and wrestle, and play with toys. It’s much more fun than the shelter. My favorite toy today is my Kong; I can chew on it, bounce it and sometimes I find snacks in it!

My foster mom has been working on my obedience training and I know how to sit, stay, come when called and I am learning to walk nicely on a leash. It’s really hard to be patient though!
