Senior shepherd in Texas desperately needs help

Okay, here is a very sad senior story, so if you know of anyone in Texas who can rescue this poor girl, please post and crosspost this extensively.

NOBODY HAS CALLED: The clock is ticking on this senior Shepherd mix, probably deaf, and found sitting in traffic. She's known as Cleopatra and she's on death row in the Carrollton Animal Servies Shelter. We mentioned her yesterday in hopes of finding someone who has room for one more old dog in the house. No dice yet. Kind of tragic to see such an older girl, having lived so long, left friendless at the end of her life. Kind of human, as it turns out. Now, if you want to help this dog, just get in touch with the Carrollton Animal Services people.
