Manatee's no-kill vote brings inquiries from Sarasota, Georgia

Wow, wow, wow! Is someone in Sarasota paying attention? It seems Lt. Scott Ortner, Director of Animal Services for Sarasota County contacted Manatee County for a copy of their plan on behalf of the Sarasota County Commission. He advised it was only preliminary inquiry.
Preliminary? That's okay. We all have to start somewhere and at least the talks are beginning.
