Do You Love German Shepherds?

It is at times likes this I wish Daddy was still living. You see, my father adored German Shepherds. The problem with that was 3 kids who loved all kinds of animals. My brother, sister and I tended to bring home strays of all kinds. Most were mixed breeds someone had dumped out somewhere and with that being said, Daddy only owned one German Shepherd his whole life. This was before I was born and the dog, in a freak accident, was struck by lightning. He would have adored Kumba but as it was, he was content to accept all the strays his children brought home.

Kumba has not had a good life. She was sentenced to living outside, to bear litter after litter of puppies, and never know what a loving home was like.

She is 6 years old, has a very sweet and quiet nature, gets along well with other dogs although young and bouncy ones make her nervous and doesn't seem to care about cats. She does well in her kennel and would actually do well in a family who would be content to walk her each day.
