The cost at adoption is $55 for a male dog and $65 for a female dog, $40 for a male cat and $50 for a female cat. This includes the cost of spay/neuter, rabies vaccination and tag (non-residents will be required to register the animal and obtain a tag from their county of residence) and a $5 adoption fee. At the time of adoption, shelter staff will contact the veterinarian's office and schedule a surgery appointment. Your new pet will stay at the shelter until the day of surgery when an Animal Services officer will transport the animal to the vet. You will be able to pick up your new pet from the vet's office that same evening between 4:00 and 5:00 pm. All animal owners are encouraged to identify their pets with the owner's name and telephone number, rabies tag or micro chip. Animal Services does scan for chipped animals so if found we can reunite pet and owner.See More
