Attend Florida Humane Lobby Day on January 17
Please join the ASPCA, The Humane Society of the U.S., GREY2K USA and fellow animal lovers on Tuesday, January 17, in Tallahassee for Florida Humane Lobby Day. This is your opportunity to let state lawmakers know, in person, that you support animal protection and oppose laws that would allow animals to be hurt and exploited. During Lobby Day, you will be the voice for the animals you care about. We will set up group meetings with both your state senator and representative, and prepare you for these meetings with insider tips and an overview of pending or upcoming animal-related legislation. Topics will include:
Greyhound Racing, Animal Fighting, Spay/Neuter Programs, “Ag-Gag” Legislation
This annual event is critical to our lobbying efforts, is a great networking activity, and is invigorating, inspiring and very personally rewarding. Don’t miss out!
