A season to share
Christmas is one of my favorite holidays. The spirit of giving comes to the front of most people's minds and I would like to ask once again for you to not forget the animals.
On any given day there are thousands of animals in rescues and shelters who need you. They need humans for food and shelter. They need humans to adopt. They need humans to support the rescues they are in. Pets are dependent upon us. They are not able to fend for themselves.
This holiday season, please consider donating to your local rescue or humane society. A box of Milkbones or a bag of cat food is always appreciated. Old blankets and towels which you are not using any longer are always appreciated. Cleaning supplies like bleach and Dawn are used on a daily basis all year long.
No cash? Take an hour and walk a dog or cuddle a cat. You don't have to do much, you just need to do it.
The rewards are great and you will make an animal's life a little better. Not everyone can adopt, but everyone can do something. After all, the problem of pet overpopulation was created by humans. It is up to us to try and make it better.
